Cottonwood NYC is a member based organization committed to radically shifting the way we think about learning, education and what it means to be in community. We work to empower youth and ignite the fire of curiosity in all people. Cottonwood fosters curiosity, play, trust, respect, equity and autonomy in all our members.
EDUCATION
Cottonwood facilitates the growth, engagement, and connection of young people by hosting a community of homeschoolers ages 5 and up. We connect our young people globally through collaboration with other microschools from around the world.
Community Events

Cottonwood serves our local public schools through afterschool enrichment programs each day and school holiday camps throughout the year.
